A Page From My Diary

Today is Thursday the 20^th (twentieth) of March in 2014

I   got up in the morning. I had a wash with my father. And I had my bed tea. Then I went to the washroom. I went to Dhamma School with my father by the bike.

At about 12.30 pm I came home and I got my lunch. Then I had a bath. All our family members went to Vihara  Maha  Devi Park. My grandmother, grandfather, aunt and uncle also came with us.

I went on a pony’s back. My sister bought toys also at last we went to see the aquarium and we came home.

Aeroplane

People use the aeroplane to transport passengers and goods. It was invented by Orville Right and Wilber Right. They were brothers.

The aeroplane has long wheels on both sides and fans on them. It has very big wheels to land on the runaway. At least two pilots fly to control the aeroplane.

A normal aeroplane can transport about 300 passengers. We can go to any country within several hours. I like to travel by an aeroplane.

My X-mas tree

Father bought me a x-mas tree.

It is green in colour and beautiful.

Sister and I decorated the x-mas tree.

I hung a bulb set in the tree.

I fixed a plastic star on the top of the x-mas tree.

Sister hung small Santas and two gifts.

My friends also helped to decorated the x-mas tree.

We kept the x-mas tree on a big table.

I switched on the lights.

It is very beautiful and I love it very much.

Policeman

Policeman works in the police station. He uses a whistle. He helps people. He wears a cap. He comes by a jeep.

My Computer

I have a computer at my home.

It is DELL brand.

It is black in colour.

Father gave me a new, red optical mouse.

And my monitor is flat.

I like to play games with my computer.

I listen to songs and watch cartoons from the internet.

I type essays with my computer.

I love my computer.

Home

My home is in Nugegoda.

It has 6 rooms.

It is very big.

It has 2 stories.

It has a big garden.

 

My Grandmother

My grandmothers name is Premavathi.

 She is 77 years old.

My grandmother has three children.

She lives in Kandy.

She likes to eat grapes.

She likes to drink orange juice.

She cooks foods very tastily.

She teaches me good manners.

Every poya day she visits temple.

She hopes to go on a trip on 15^th of December.

Her hobby is gardening.

She likes to make sweets.

She is very kind and good.

She likes to wear sari and blouse.

I love my grandmother very much.

My Father

My father’s name is Dhammika.

He is 39 years old.

He is a businessman.

He sells spices.

He likes to eat bananas.

His hobby is collecting stamps.

He brings me colourful kites.

He loves us very much.

He likes to drink sprite.

He comes to the school to take me.

He likes to play football and badminton.

He drives the van and the motorbike.

He goes to business by the van.

My Mother

My mother’s name is Buddhika.

She is a housewife.

She is tall and fair.
She has curly hair.
She is very kind.
She helps me to do my homework.
She likes to eat mangoes.
She can cook foods very tastily.
She can ride the motorbike.
When I get sick she gives me medicine.
She has a sister and a brother.
She can sew clothes beautifully.
She washes my clothes every day.
She comes to the School to take me.
